What is the added value of the EUDI Wallet compared to the eID card app already available in Austria?

Austria is a pioneer here. The eAusweis app, which can only be used in combination with an
ID Austria activated on the same device (full function), already offers
similar advantages to the EUDI wallet. Among other things, it enables the
use of the digital driving license, age verification (only the
attribute is checked) and the student ID card and is regarded as the forerunner of the
Austrian EUDI wallet. The cross-border interoperability
is then an extension in the course of the publication of the EUDI wallet.
